Two separate little warm-ups! Playing with brushes and some contrast shading style!

Another pattern and colour sample from my workbook. The style and structure is simple and repetitive. This relates to Islamic geometry DNA I am currently experimenting with. The fusion and colour contrast helps to underscore the shape within.

6. Umbreon. It's a toss-up between this and Jolteon, but Umbreon might just be my favorite Eeveelution. The lithe frame, simple circles and contrasting colors just really make it stand out. A great way to introduce Dark type.

#contrastore

In the atlas (Gravid Uterus) of William Hunter, in contrast to Smellie, the focus shifts to pathology and the problems associated with birth. The images tend to be far more graphic, as well.

David Rees likens his spring collection's contrast of hare and lion to a fable. It's the first time he's painted such a delicate creature, and he adds: "Keeping it tender was important." https://t.co/2vPXbxyMim

Aww haha ;u; I think it's super okay to be lazy!!! I try my best to follow this golden advice when shading stuff; put more attention and contrast to the things that matter... everything else can also be detailed, but not by much! 8D

Whats good!? Name's Dey, I'm a Grenadian living in Brklyn. NYC! I love me some contrasts and color in harmony... I'm still in squid hell.

Ilustração de O Rei Leão finalizada.
Tentei me ater a paleta do filme, mas eles não brincam tanto com contraste em saturação e eu vivo pra isso, então não ficou tão fiel assim. Mas olha, ainda ta terroso, risos.

I'm a sucker for contrast between little and current Dekker 😉Black (griffon) wings (his mercenary group), purple roses (his knightly order), thorns (his 'guild'-in-progress), moons, stars, sickles… Just Dekker things. But the sickle is always constant!
