D29 of Today I have been working on my OpenGL project and have added in lighting and materials. Here it can be seen with some random materials generated at run time.

Implemented a new enemy: The Prisoner.

Bunny was glad to find he wasn't the only one down here, but quickly discovered they are not friendly.

Day 80: Blocks have 3 colour states now when colliding with the ball. Need to fix the issue with the ball slowing down though!

Been working on more level editor stuff, copied selections can be saved! Placing now shows a preview and it can be rotated. (Maybe not the best implementation, but hey it works!)

We finished our game! Sort of. I mean, it doesn't even have a lose condition. But it was fun and I learnt a lot during the jam. I'll try to summarize it all in a post-mortem later this week.

Good news: I found a workaround for my videocard problem.
Bad news: things are moving far slower then we thought. I guess, using a not very familiar engine is not the best thing to do on a jam. From the other hand, I'm curious where we'll end up. :)

Good thing I implemented getting objects back if they get lost (or thrown to inaccessible areas). Apparently I had the collider on this piece of floor disabled, whoops. 🙃
