And with Balder’s departure, his miniseries ends! I was actually impressed by how their relationship progressed during the series. The evil queen has become a benevolent ruler, and Balder is riding off to fulfill his destiny as the new king of Asgard!

Karnilla learns from Balder that she has a duty to her people, so she will use her enchantments to try to restore them to life. But when she finds the note from Hogun, she realizes that Balder also has a duty to leave and become the new ruler of Asgard!
