I love how well "Hurt" sprite turned out.
This is how I "sketch" difficult poses, I grab a sprite with pose I like and then sketch over it to copy the dynamic of the movement. In this case I copied legs position and the body tilt.

I was a bit busy but Im steadily redrawing all sprites with faster method since I learned how to sketch in software instead of paper.
