# inspiration moebius druillet

Mandaloregaming's recent video on the madness that is "Ring" also introduced me to the artist Philippe Druillet.
Such wonderful works. I'm interested in looking more into his art to learn from it - especially in the linework and coloring.

French comics artist Philippe Druillet. Another Métal Hurlant founder, and nicknamed the "Space Architect". These are from Urm le fou / Urm the Mad (1975)--although I also think there's some overlap with Druillet's "Elric of Melnibone" adaptation (even the best, recycle)!

J'ai commencé à regarder par curiosité l'anime Dragon Quest: Yuusha Abel Densetsu (co-réalisé par Rintaro) et il y a une ambiance folle qui se dégage dès l'épisode 1. C'est comme si l'univers de Toriyama était confronté à celui de Moebius ou de Druillet.
