Today's challenge: 'Meditate & write to the future. How did it make you feel?'.
Well I didn't meditate, I can't sit still long enough but I did wonder what it would be like as an angel in a Renaissance painting.

Today's challenge is to 'Teach somebody a skill that you have'.
So here are my instructions to boil an egg just in case somebody out there doesn't know how to do this.
Boil for 3 minutes.
Enjoy your egg.

Challenge today: 'Playing with Paint'. I got out my acrylics & a palette knife & splashed & squished paint around. Added a line but it took ages to dry as my artroom is so cold! Then I added some stick figures. Oh dear.

Challenge today is to relax and breathe consciously while covering one nostril! The technique is called pranayama. Don't think I will be trying it!

CAT LOVERS BEWARE!
Challenge was to choose a word, translate it into Welsh, create a new word.
Cow - Gwartheg - Gwarthmog. Meet a gwarthmog, a cross between a cat and a cow!
I do think I might have overthought this one.

It had to be the poetic 'Colours' by Donovan and I sat down to listen to it - didn't join in because I can't sing.

Day 11

Sign Names

I've thought a lot about this challenge and how I could respond because it's about finding a visual sign for your name. As a blind person that's really tricky because I couldn't see someone else's sign.

Challenge is what is your 'Pick me Up?'
Spent all day objecting to a planning application! In need of a pick me up during I turned to a cup of Earl Grey in a posh cup and saucer. Drawing it made me relax.

Challenge today is to collect 'found things' around you and to create an image of your objects.
I sketched my art materials which were already set up to paint.

Many thanks to for organising.

today 'Find out something you've got in common with someone older or younger'.
I immediately thought of the E H Shepard illustration of Pooh Bear and Piglet. So here is a child with an older person happily having a favourite day together.

Day 3. The January Challenge. 'First impressions'.
Found this challenge extremely difficult to sketch -"Create an imprint of your hand or foot, in or with natural materials. Leave behind a trace of yourself, or take it inside." Did I do it?
