I know i said i would do the background, but the reality-warp i had planned for it turned into a foreground thing again. It is hard to balance it to preserve the distortion without it looking just like compressions-artifacts, but i think this is too opaque.

This was the first painting on the back of glass using the method I mentioned earlier - although this is on a thick piece of tempered glass I found somewhere. I hadn’t worked out using waterborne enamel yet so the white isn’t that opaque. It’s of my friend Chloe Shepard.

Hey guys, your plugin is WONDERFUL! I have a question I can't seem to find answers for though!

My thing is see-thru in the weirdest ways, and I can't seem to figure out how to make it opaque. It's very hard to work with like this.. could I trouble you for assistance?

If you want a shadow reference, you can use this setup instead. With light source enabled on the object, you can use black layer color + multiply blending mode.

This works by making the layer greyscale and then converting the white to transparent, black to opaque.

I do... I was working on something LITERALLY just yesterday. I put a little color underneath the lines--they were grey rather than black, but you can sort of tell the lines are mostly opaque.

Experimenting with QoR high chroma starter watercolor paint. The purple is nice and dark which I love. I was pleasantly surprised to discover the cobalt teal is opaque. This color feels like gouache more than watercolor.
