I spent a week on Orkney, um… some time ago. (I was taught to pronounce Stromness with an 'i' not 'e'.) The Ring of Brodgar was a highlight of the visit. Also, I like to make artistic coloured versions of my landscapes.
The artist Sylvia Wishart painted beautiful works through the windows of her homes in Orkney. This view is from the window of her home in Stromness, now @PierArtsCentre. If any of you are lucky enough to have views of the sea at home then lets see them! #inspiredathome
Sandside Beach in #Graemsay is a stunning coral beach with wonderful views of the #Hoy Hills and #Stromness
My first solo show opens next Saturday in Stromness, Orkney! Pop over and say howdy!
