This week our is Yacht, pink and green c.1934-8 by Alfred Wallis. Wallis often painted on both sides of boards. This painting has St Ives harbour and Godrevy painted on the other side.

I spent a week on Orkney, um… some time ago. (I was taught to pronounce Stromness with an 'i' not 'e'.) The Ring of Brodgar was a highlight of the visit. Also, I like to make artistic coloured versions of my landscapes.
