the horrible initial sketch-
yeah Ghost Leviathan and Chelicerate are pretty noisy in the game so XD
initially wanted to paint Ghost's eyes with "pink" and "yellow" to represent different mood https://t.co/9zFkK3uFgk
@infezmite Vale espécie de jogo? Esses são Chelicerate e Squidshark do Subnautica Below Zero, o jogo tem varias espécies legais pra transformar em anthro
It also contrasts with the chelicerate-like neuroanatomy of Alalcomenaeus, a megacheiran supposedly more distantly related to crown-group chelicerates, which possessed homonomous limbs posterior to a pair of 'great appendages'. More info: https://t.co/fOhKpcNl9n
@franzanth Very dead chelicerates (phalangiotarbids, trigonotarbids, chasmataspidids and synziphosurines)

An arthropod nerd fond of radiodonts and weird chelicerates. Works on both reconstructions, diagrams and gijinkas.
Paintover the 3D teams' work to show how the Chelicerates' mouth works in #SubnauticaBelowZero
I'm Jun from Malaysia, an arthropod nerd mainly interested on weird chelicerates and basal extinct taxa like radiodonts. I enjoyed making arthropod-related works through gijinkas, diagrams and reconstructions of some fossil counterparts.

Hot off the press @CurrentBiology we show that megacheiran euarthropods had a labrum, clarifying the segmental origin of their raptorial great appendages & supporting affinities with chelicerates 🥳 in collab. w/ Yu Liu & Dayou Zhai from Yunnan University

That was a great @Subnautica below zero stream! I absolutely love the tree spires biome & finally saw an adult vent garden. Chelicerates are not scary anymore, but jeez lily paddlers flip my world upside down!
And also, look at this lovely art made by new member Luna
Blessed!

Habelia are small predators that lived around the Cambrian period. Despite their chelicerate affinity, their functional morphology are more similar to those of mandibulates. Their anterior limb pairs, instead of walking, are more specialized for sensing and feeding.
