I love how FEH incorporated their dragonstone! Fallen Robin has a astrolabe esque stone, Dheginsea and Tiki have a lantern, Ninian has a crepe, and even Xane has a joker card that resembles a dragon!

I'm not sure if this is what you mean but, my character Ankhel is a not so very subtle reference to Ancalagon the Black from Tolkien's Silmarillion, which I have never read, in combination with transforming dragon people from Fire Emblem like Dheginsea.
