I went back and deepened the colors on this piece because they looked so diffuse. And I think it looks much better.
Patience is something I lack and I need to learn it. Because a little more work would have made the difference.

I use the Somuchdota to make the masks by disabling the colour channels and overlaying it over top my completed diffuse. Feel like I have better control over the final product that way. I do a lot of texture touchups in photoshop after doing the base diffuse.

Tweaked the inking shader and baked a cavity map into the diffuse. It pairs nicely with the SSAO.
