Happy #internationalwomensday2023 !
I created this piece to celebrate women and the fight for equality, inspired by the 'We Can Do It!' WWII poster by J. Howard Miller in 1943.

Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu first aired on this day, January 8, 1988. This anime series is a great classic not only for the space adventure in it, but also its political idea of highlighting the social inequality, and such strong, quotable LINES that hit home.
Here are some of them:
In recognition of World AIDS Day 2022 which was held yesterday, December 1, BAHAGHARI UP Baguio supports and reiterates the calls from the UNAIDS that recognize inequality, discrimination and misinformation as hurdles that still hinder progress to address the AIDS pandemic.
“We ask justice, we ask equality, we ask that all the civil and political rights that belong to citizens of the United States, be guaranteed to us and our daughters forever.”

An example of actual equality, democracy, existing socialism without racial hatred, greater technological advancement in a POC nation - it put the US, the West & Europe to shame, blew their 'White Man's Burden' out of the water -- thats why they anti-democratically crushed Hawaii

When the texts are this good, there’s no excuse for not including in your curriculum.
Looking forward to reading this, @catwrote. Lovely to meet you on Thurs!

It is #DisabilityPrideMonth and the logo is nowhere. Shops aren't displaying it. I can't find any messages of support from Government depts. Silence. We don't have job equality, marriage or health equality. Disabled people bring so much to your community. Time to speak up.
