Reposting this old Hadrosaur, based on the relatively recently described Ornatops incantatus because idk how color works but @BrianEngh_Art has a better eye for color than I do
First Draw Dinosaur December. Prompt: Hadrosaur, so I picked Parasarulophus.
Rules: (for me)
1 Hour Max
Use only Skeletal reference of the dinosaur, and some Skeletal Reconstructions.
Use Bird and Reptile references as required.
I think this horse was sick, I've never heard a neigh like that before.
This is my first time ever seriously drawing a hadrosaur, and as usual, I am not a professional paleoartist, mistakes are likely. I am open to pointers on anatomical details/mistakes, just go easy on me 😂
Newest #watercolor is of the #hadrosaur, #Rhinorex. Unearthed in Utah, the genus name translates to “Nose King” because of its large, downturned snout. (A trait common to quite a few other hadrosaurs, actually) 👃👑 #dinosaur #paleoart #watercolors #scicomm #Utah
Another hadrosaur, Edmontosaurus, also received a redo! (alternate E. regalis heads shown alongside E. annectens, as well as E. kuukpikensis)
The characteristically crested hadrosaur, Parasaurolophus, received a revamp!
With around 500 teeth being replaced every few weeks, Nigersaurus was a dentist’s nightmare. It was just trying to be just like a Hadrosaur, grazing on ferns right on the ground, unlike other sauropods who preferred browsing on trees! Wow!
Day 28: Draw what a descendant of a dinosaur might look like today.
I present a titanosaur adapted for grazing, a cursorial hadrosaur, a derived pachycephalosaur descendant, a giant apex predator dromaeosaur, and an ant-eating alvarezsaur.
