In Painting Zoom group today celebrate an author.
Being International Women's Day I chose Judith Kerr. Discovering Mog as a child was great but the memory of reading The Tiger Who Came To Tea to my two is very precious.

Saddened to hear of passing. Her wonderful stories will live on for generations, a great legacy.

Today my eldest sits Higher Drama - her last ever school exam. Looking back along that long road to this point, in the distance I can see "A-Tigey-A-Come-a-Tea" - a book which so filled her with excitement we had to rush out and buy a copy. Thanks

We are all feeling very sad today in Cardiff Central Children's library about the loss of Judith Kerr but so happy for all the joy she has brought to us all over the years

RIP
I queued up to meet her once after a fascinating and funny talk. It has always meant so much to me that she wished me well on my first book with such kindness. What an inspiration to so many.

So sad to hear of the passing of a children's literature icon. 'When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit' is one of the earliest books I can remember reading. My thoughts are with her family and friends ❤️

Of course we'll miss her - she was very lovely.

It still never fails to crack me up, how in ‘Mog the Forgetful Cat’, even the sorrowful burglar gets a cup of tea.
