I'm a day late, but I wanted to share another piece of fiction that had a huge impact on #AnnoAmagium. The original #FinalFantasyVII captivated me from the moment I saw it. It was one of my 1st encounters with blended sci-fi and fantasy, as well as Japanese character design.
For clarity, I'm not talking about a whole-ass Gundam. This concept art by Doug Nhung gives you a good idea of what the Amagium's ALTAR units look like.

#WriteAnime D4: My own book is contemporary urban fantasy murder mystery with strong cop drama influences. But the world is informed by a fairly robust alternate history to account for the presence of magic, the Amagium, etc., and there are some other light sci-fi flourishes.
#WriteAnime D10II: I cannot confirm whether advanced Monstrum & Malfeasance units have car-sized, Gyve-fueled artifice armor suits... or if the Amagium has battalions of said units ferreted away in case of magical war... But if they did, they might look like these bois here.
