Wonderful news, April the Tenontosaurus, an excellent skeleton of sub-adult ornithopod, will be displayed in the newly renovated Manchester Museum.
I had the pleasure of working on that lovely skeleton with University of Manchester way back then

#Riabininohadros was a herbivore native to #Ukraine during the late-Cretaceous. This large ornithopod dinosaur is known only from hind limb elements uncovered in the early 20th century. As such, very little is known about this animal.

So I just got started on this today to get back in the flow. Some ornithopod or other, very unknown, you probably haven't heard of it (jk it's Iguanodon bernissartensis). Now where did I put that absolutely delightful drawing by @Himmapaan ...
Someone requested an obscure ornithopod, so here we go, lanzhousaurus. Mostly this was just me screwing around in Clip Studio lol. Not thrilled with the lineart but meh. #lanzhousaurus #dinosaur #ornithopod
Still on an ornithopod kick and wanted to see what one would look like if it could sit on its haunches. So here is a very polite Parasaurolophus. :)
-like ornithopods such as Dryosaurus! Some even believe it might've eaten aquatic prey, with Paleontologist Robert Bakker stating that its flexible tail theoretically could've aided it when swimming, and its teeth being frequently found near water bodies!(3/3)
Art by Jan Selzer!
F is for Fukuisaurus and Fox Terrier.
Fukuisaurus is a genus of herbivorous ornithopod dinosaur that lived during the Early Cretaceous in what is now Japan and were really bad with large bags of dry dog food.

@cmkosemen I thought about #Berthasaura and #Gasparinisaura as well.
There were small ornithopods running around, but we have 2 other entire clades with members filling similar niches.
What was going on down there!?
@quillistic Offers u a small ornithopod instead
(But god yes dinosaurs and paleontology are the BEST)
@A3Dnazrigar “Only Ornithopod Villain”
Bruh, you’re just gonna discredit her like that.

Ornithopods and basal ceratopsians are some of the most underrated archosaurs in the entire family and they deserve more attention. I think one of the ways we can make them more interesting and appealing to the community and public is by introducing feathers/filaments.
