'The Battle of Peshawar' took place on May 8, 1758, between the Marathas and Durrani Empire.

The Marathas, led by Raghunathrao (younger brother of Nanasaheb Peshwa) and Malharrao Holkar were victorious in the battle, and Peshawar was captured.
