most of the time, my comics are drive by the vibes
i thought in trying to do the long strip format of web comics, but dam, that feels so restrictive
Working with a very limited palette (red, yellow, B&W) might feel restrictive but I find it freeing
These are multi-layered works, with a rich 'history' to be discovered.
Which do you prefer?

i tried my hardest but my skin is not that light and my hair is a lot darker but its not black its still brown and my hair doesnt really look like that... this picrew was very restrictive and it frustrates me https://t.co/MiU8N2nKzx
@thatmaestroguy I don’t think it’s self advertising really. Obligating people to only use your emotes seems restrictive. Besides, it’s cool to see other emotes. Also, sometimes said performer might not have one that represents what you want to say so it might be best to use your own.
Picrew thing, you at your worst ◀️, you at your best ▶️ (link in comments)
Me cca 2018, self hating "straight" blackpilled incel in seriously restrictive LDR, avoiding life at all costs, VS me cca 2022 self loving slutty goth bimbo femboy catboy cringe embracer
Idk it just sort of..happens? Each of these pieces is from a different year, I think what helped me, in the long run, is that I just let my improvement influence how my art turned out. Trying to constantly find a "style" feels more restrictive and that's the last thing you want https://t.co/Gww5cHBkGk
A doodle and my attempt to do neat ISH line art. It feels so restrictive!! I can’t stand working this way
But I feel like my work could benefit from being a bit neater (even if I don’t go so far as sticking to a strict line art>base colour>shading process)
@ArtbyEdwin Ok I'll play but with a note ;)
I'll go with an old obsession.
Sunset palette. Not a color but still feel restrictive.
I used to give too much meaning over colors and interpretation.
My wisdom and vision deepens, I now see color as light spectrum, If only I could see it all...
@TheComicJam @DiscoverComics @SinghRalf I like messy art. I think there´s a real danger in censorship etc. You know the expression "warts and all". Perfection can be such a stiff, restrictive idea. The core thing I dislike is anti-individualism. I like individuals of all shapes and colors, on an individual basis.
England, 1876. Twenty-year-old Maraina struggles to adhere to the restrictive standards of #Victorian society, until a terrifying #supernatural encounter occurs.

Difference between working with more freedom and working with restrictive mandates.

Urban is probably my favourite type of landscape to explore in games.
Like sneaking through corner apartments in Dishonored or exploring apartments in Bioshock.
Harder to design than natural environments but not as restrictive in it's geometry.
Also plays better with verticality
Learned, won a 4P game of cooperative boardgame Pandemic: Reign of Cthulhu (2016), a spinoff from Matt Leacock's famous Pandemic (2008)
This horror game uses the core mechanics of Pandemic, but removed the original's restrictive travel mechanic.
@QuickFlow6 @HoshikoDreaming @RachaelElzi @PandaReginald He's in his day off clothes
(Help the skin tones were so restrictive)
I use the pronouns he / him.
I identify primarily as a gay man but sometimes refer to myself as queer; it feels less restrictive.
People who know nothing about me have made the assumption that I wouldn’t date a trans man. They know nothing about me.

Sony is far more restrictive in recent years, and RGG devs are worried about the "family friendly image" of Nintendo.
Sounds like a cop-out to me. If they said it was technical limitations, at least that would be somewhat believable.
2/4 are censored on PS4, uncensored on NSw. https://t.co/uqHUdPqgEY
The 15th Amendment gave African American men the right to vote. But within 10 years, former Confederates regained control of southern state governments & used restrictive voter qualifications to keep them from the polls. Learn more in #AmericanDemocracy now @VirginiaMuseum.
