But a good old feral werewolf is a classic i keep returning to.
As a child my mother took me to the cinema to see The Secret of Roan Inish, the first time I saw a movie before reading the book, about the Irish and Orcadian #folklore of selkies. I often think it was that fantastical film that begot my love of folklore.
