Today’s Mutant of the day is Warren Worthington III A.K.A Angel!

Angel possessed the superhuman ability to fly by means of his natural wings, which spanned sixteen feet from wingtip to wingtip. He was also transformed into an armoured from named Archangel by Apocalypse!

This is a 518-PSM starboard wingtip pod. It is likely a transmitter (i.e. jammer) pod, while the port wingtip pod (designated 518-LSM1) is likely a receiver pod. I like those split wingtips too, even though I personally have seen it before, in the SV-51 from the 2002's Macross Zero. But the split wingtips is a concept that doesn't get used enough ❤️
