I like the incorporation of even "fake" mythos here. There's a few people in differing schools of magic that take similar approaches. Using the patently "false" or knowingly manufactured gods to ensure that they do/represent what you want. That seems to have failed here.
Quimper's really a rather disturbing little fellow, isn't he?
The parallels between both Takashi and Quimper speaking to off panel unrevealed characters is interesting.
I'm not sure what's more frightening, what happened here or King Mob with hair.
Wonderful art from Weston, Kryssing, and Vozzo. That sickly green really puts it over the top.
Interesting to see Takashi working through "building" the time machine and explaining its genesis. We're left wondering who he's taking to here.
You wonder how much of this is roleplay or if King Mob's finally put the pieces together, which he's been trying to do since he went back to the '20s.
Trying to explain why you're attracted to someone else is always kind of awkward. Especially when one of your friend's is apparently making sounds like a horse being born with another guy up above you.
The angel statues are creepy as fuck. Also, the transition from Sir Miles' dreamscape to King Mob and Ragged Robin in the New Orleans cemetery is interesting. Suggesting a kind of dreamlike state throughout.
Just that little flourish at the top adds something nice to the overall design.
Interesting to see both sides of the pond's enemies collaborating and the absurd humour of Sir Miles appearing without pants in this dream.
