#SpiderWoman (@THEKarlaPacheco Perez, D’Armata), also hit a lot of buttons. I love seeing heroes’ real lives and details along with heir super exploits. And this is funny and gorgeous and…just great comic books!

#Avengers(@jasonaaron @JavierGarron @Davcuriel) was of course gorgeous. The costume designs were stunning, and the colours played so well together (look at that red/white panel! Also there were some layouts and looks that really pushed the boat out a bit on this one. Loved it!

#Valkyries (@gronbekk de Iulis) Was predictably GORGEOUS and had the epic, mythic, slightly weird vibe that this series does so very very well.

#Champions (@weredawgz @LucianoVecchio @toonfed_oficial) was a lot of fun! This book is bright and colourful and alongside that covering some surprisingly deep ideas and concepts. I’m very very happy with it

So, #ThisWeekInMarvel goes to one of the best books out there - #BlackWidow (@79SemiFinalist @LaraWest de la Torre Bellaire). This book is perfection. Whip smart dialogue, but still full of heart. Bittersweet emotions. Stunning action, intrigue, plot. The amazing art and colours

So, #ThisWeekinMarvel goes to the Ever Might #Valkyries (@gronbekk, de Iulis, D’Urso @Menyz). This book is an absolute visual delight (both stories!), a real feast for the eyes. That’s married with a story of such heart and emotion that just moves me. I love this wholeheartedly

Expectedly, but oh do deservedly #ThisWeekInMarvel isfor #BlackWidow (@79SemiFinalist @LaraWest Bellaire). This book it outstanding. Dreamy to look at, smart and understated to read, touching real issues and depths... and then taking a turn for the deeply weird. So so perfect

This gets the #Pullie for Pet of the Week (I know Mr Horse is in Valkyries, but he keeps telling me he’s a sidekick not a pet so, his loss!). Having a dog in it also means it’s Layla’s Pick of the Week!

#Champions (@weredawgz @LucianoVecchio @toonfed_oficial) This definitely set up the arc really well, and I continue to appreciate how it sounds authentically youth without alienating me, definitely no longer a youth... it’s bright and fun and definitely interesting!

#BlackCat (@jedmackay Dowling, @ReberVision )- what can I say? This book continues to delight at the highest level. Felicia is all claws and heart, and recklessness. Just the way she should be. The threat level is ramped way way up here and I can’t wait to see how weird this gets
