JESSI'S GIRLS (1975).

A pretty good rape-revenge western from Al Adamson. Overly padded with "horse-riding in the desert" sequences, but plenty of hard-edged action keep things simmering.

DRACULA VS. FRANKENSTEIN (1971).

On my planet, Al Adamson's mash-up within a mash-up is rightly regarded as a masterpiece. Long live American trash cinema. 🇺🇸

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO SOLANGE? (1972)

Someone is killing the students the Posh Girls' academy in a way that, if I showed it, would get me banned from Twitter.

SOLANGE has become my most watched in recent years. Love this flick. 🕵🏼‍♂️🗡️

GAPPA THE TRIPHIBIAN MONSTERS (1967).

For their only foray into cinema, Nikkatsu combined the plots of KING KONG VS. GODZILLA and GORGO to produce this decent but conventional flick.

Not bad, but it lacks the loopy charm of Godzilla and Gamera films.

SATANICO PANDEMONIUM (1975).

The best movie ever made in which the main character is a nun named "Maria." How do you solve a problem like Maria? Pour molten lead in her mouth, apparently.

THE FREAKMAKER (1974).

A mad professor plans to create a race of human-plant hybrids. Naturally, he allies himself with a disfigured freak show owner so the movie can be 10x trashier.

Thanks to for bringing this grindhouse favorite to blu ray. 📽️

MURDERS IN THE RUE MORGUE (1932).

A pre-code that eludes me no more! It's not on the level of the major 1930s classics, but the film is well paced and more explicit than I expected. I should know by now with pre-code films.

Starring Bela Lugosi.
