Pokeys are usually made up of a whole stack of cacti, but some of them pop out from the ground with just the head! They can blend in around other flowers by hiding in the sand with their flower exposed. You never know which ones have one of these under them.

As the one of the only Bullies not made out of metal, this frozen foe holds its own Power Star. You can even see it right there, sticking out of its frozen head. Its main goal to ram any threats off of a slippery iceberg and into the frigid water below.

This coin-filled creature looks like a simple coin from afar, but reveals its true purse-like form when approached. Naturally, it drops a bunch of coins when defeated. But wait, there's no ID or anything in here… is anyone missing their wallet?

A handful of these criminal condors appear throughout the Mario series, hoarding goods such as Power Stars and treasure. Most notably, it can swoop down and steal Mario's cap right off of his head! Mario might not want to lose a huge part of his brand like that.

You see those crazy faces as it rolls toward you, and immediately want to move out of the way. but then you see an opening at the bottom, which is your only way past it. Perfect design. This classic metallic look was a prototype; now they look more like Thwomps.
