187. Dokonto
For its neutral special, Antotto wields a gun. (Okay, it's not a real gun. Probably just a Nerf gun or something for safe use around the house. That's my headcannon anyway. And it seems to be Dokonto's too.)
🦝
186. Chikunto
Antotto but SHARP. This ant subspecies has retractable spikes on its back used for defense. Unfortunately, they aren't in complete control of them, and they might come out at the worst times. This one was just taking a nap on a plank when it happened.
🦝
185. Goronto
Hey, it turns out the Antotto from last week wasn't your typical one; it's part of a group whose job is to dig into the ground around the Macro Zone for groundskeeping. They're not always great at it, sometimes digging up rocks that roll all over the place.
🦋
184. Tōsenbo
These slug-like space-dwellers are able to inflate and deflate themselves every few seconds. They hurt to touch when inflated, but are intangible when flat. Wait, how do they get the air to do that with? Even Mario needs a space suit for air in this game.
🦝
182. No. 48
Wrong, this is number 182 actually. This spaceborne robot singlehandedly guards the entirety of the Space Zone, jumping high and firing stars at anyone who dares approach! At least, it thinks it does. the stars don't really go that far, but it's trying its best.
180. Bomubomu
These mechanical pigs have cannons embedded in their bodies, with their barrel being the snout. They were built by Tatanga after failing to defeat Mario the first time. Much like those on airships of previous games, the canonballs they shoot can be jumped on.
🦋
179. Unibō
Sea urchins are one thing, but SKY urchins are an entirely different beast. And these spiked creatures, inhabiting both the ocean and the air, count as both. When threats approach one of them, they tend to shake vertically or horizontally (depending on the color).
🦝
178. Big Bird
Having made his home at the very top of the Tree Zone, this angry bird is the leader of the Dondon species. He guards one of the six golden coins in his nest, but his predictable swooping attacks show that there might have been better birds for the job.
🦝
177. Heavy Zed
Thankfully, not every bird around here is hostile. This slumbering owl just likes to let other creatures ride on its head for fun. Besides that, it sleeps throughout almost the entire day. The starry sky is beautiful from up here in the treetops, right?
🦋
176. Dondon
Swooping in from above, this huge bird is one of the meanest in the air. They're not particularly tough or strong, but the unpredictability of how they fly down and charge forward is wnough to knock anyone off the treetops. They usually attack one at a time.
