I always loved this small scene where Belle tends the Beast's wounds in Beauty and the Beast. The expressions on the Beast's face in this scene are fantastic as every time he makes a defense he smiles feeling like he's gonna win the argument.
I always love hearing John Goodman playing a kind father figure character in an animated movie. He has the perfect voice for it.
Here's some concept art of Astrid from How to Train Your Dragon by Nico Marlet. Seeing her with pigtails is certainly interesting.
Considering Luca is directed by Enrico Casarosa, I'm eager to see how gorgeous it looks. The short he made with Pixar almost ten years ago, La Luna, was a gorgeous short who's story and animation felt like a storybook. I can't wait to see what he has in store with Luca!
When Wall-E began production, the humans in the film were initially supposed to be alien blobs that spoke gibberish. Pixar even did study Jello for reference when making the blobs on the computer. Eventually, these characters became humans which I think was the right choice.
I finally saw the Cartoon Network short Trick Moon and it was a lot of fun. Lots of great jokes, memorable characters, and fun action. With some fine-tuning, I'd love to see it get a show. Hopefully, Cartoon Network gives it a chance to become a show.
I find it funny how J.K. Simmons voiced all of these characters. Gotta love him as an actor.
GKIDS has announced new steelbooks for My Neighbor Totoro and Princess Mononoke. They will be set to be released on October 20.
