According to director Tim Story, the new Tom and Jerry movie will be using stylized animation with CG characters having hand-drawn elements to give the animation a hand-drawn look. I'm already sold on this idea and can't wait to see it in action!

The backgrounds of Bambi are simply masterpieces when it comes to background art in animation. I love the influence Tyrus Wong had on this film and his take on nature cannot be compared.

I always hate how Nickelodeon treated Harvey Beaks. This show was such a funny and charming cartoon and it really could've lasted a long time had Nick given it a chance to spread its wings. It's such a shame it got scrapped instead and the way it did is so infuriating.

Words cannot describe how beautiful the animation in Soul looks so far. I cannot wait for this film when it comes hoping that it's not delayed.

I found out about a canceled hand-drawn animated film that was trying to be made in the 2010s called Galaxy Gas. It was to be directed by Kirk Wise and about a teenager who discovers that his father is running a gas station for aliens. I feel bad cause this concept art is great.

Words cannot describe how sad and frustrated I get that Camp Weedonwatncha didn't get turned into a cartoon by Nickelodeon. The comic by Katie Rice and Adam Wallander is so good, has amazing and deep characters, and it made a great animated pilot. I really wish this happened.

Peter de Sève's designs for the canceled DreamWorks movie Larrkins are simply amazing. It's a huge shame he was left uncredited when the film evolved into the short Bilby because his work is amazing and deserves credit.
