This is unrelated to the previous tweets, but I always wondered if the two schoolgirls on the background of Guy's stage were the inspiration for Sakura and her friend Kei, who both debuted in the next game.
The Honda Bathhouse (ホ田湯) became the Song Teahouse (宋茶館) and thus, the ゆ (yu) on the entrance was blanked out. The Matsu Bentō (松弁当) sign now says JONASAN and Hotto Menu (ほっとメニュー) became Hot Chocolate (熱朱古力). The green road sign was also changed.
Alternate version of Sin-ichi Hiromoto's Parodius Da! artwork from Gamest #46 (1990/06). The same issue also has caricatures of the game's developers (including Toyo Shotaro and the late Kasuhisa Hashimoto).
Was Mory Wandayu an alias for Hiromoto?

@Lancelot20205 @tacticalfiend All of Capcom USA's cover artwork were like that during that period. Capcom vs. SNK's US cover for example, was just two random art assets from two different games (Ryu's bust art from Alpha 3 with Terry Bogard's character art from Wild Ambition). They were really that lazy.
@PaulMcIcedTea I'm sorry if this was already brought to your attention, but it seems that someone used a piece of your fanart to create the key image that Amazon Prime is using for the Double Dragon animated series. I don't think Baker the swordsman was ever in that show...
@OliverJia1014 I have the digibook edition myself, which has some nice Syd Mead art on the inside.
It has the same stock art by Capcom that was used in all the RE1/BH1 products from that period, but for some reason the character art for Chris Redfield depicts him with a cigarette. Most versions of this art, even the ones used in Japanese guides, omits the cigarette. 2/4
The Yarudora series by the way, consists of four entries on the PS1 (Double Cast, Kisetsu o Dakishimete, Sampaguita, Yukihari no Hana) and two on PS2 (Scandal, Blood: The Last Vampire). With the exception of Scandal, they were all ported to the PSP as well.
It seems that for the Sega CD version of Snatcher, a Mitsuhiro Togo was brought in to serve as the assistant director for that version, as well as to do scenario rewrites. It seems that the only other Konami game he's credited in is the Genesis version of Tournament Fighter.
