Issue #270’s Off-Panel directly references Tetsuo Hara’s "Fist Of The North Star" and Hirohiko Araki’s "Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders". With Sonic and Knuckles resembling each series's respective protagonists, plus quoting their most famous lines.

When Sonic Adventure’s story was being adapted into comic form by Archie, there existed an error where Tikal’s name would be misspelled as "Tical". Thankfully, future reprints would fix this issue.
