In Sonic Chronicles, there exists an enemy type based off the Swat-Bots from both SatAM and Archie. Though design wise, they more closely resemble Archie’s Shadow-Bots.
Illustrated by Tyson Hesse, this was intended to be the cover for the fifteenth issue of "Sonic Super Special Magazine" which had been unfortunately cancelled.
Thankfully, most of it’s original content had been transferred onto Sonic Super Digest Issue 15 instead.
Anti-Rotor’s mechanical enhancements were originally coloured as a traditional metallic grey, but since issue #192 they were changed into being gold. Alongside his fur being a more vibrant shade of purple.
According to the Guinness Book Of World Records, Archie’s run on Sonic The Hedgehog is considered as one of the most longest running comic inspired by a licensed property since it’s beginning in 1993.
One background character shown in Issue #77 is "mobianfied" version of Tenchi Muyo’s Ayeka Masaki Jurai.
In the Sonic X comics, there’s a special division of G.U.N called C.L.I.P. This idea would later become revisited in the main series’ post-252 universe, with Madonna Garnet working under a group of same name.
When fighting the roboticized versions of Charmy Bee and Espio in "Worlds Collide", Sonic makes a quip naming two Mega Man X characters. Those being Sting Chameleon and Blast Hornet.
