"Castle of Black Steel - Battleship Mutsu 2593-"
The Mutsu was one of the Big Seven battleships and was the most powerful battleship before the advent of the Yamato.
This depicts the figure of Mutsu as it was in 1933, with its bent smokestack, complex bridge, and modified bow.

【制作中】#鉛筆画「戦艦 陸奥 2593（仮）」
塗り込み作業を重ね、現在はこんな嵐の中を航行する姿に。細部の描き込みと波の仕上げは必要ですが、大体の雰囲気が感じられるようになってきました。２枚目の塗り込み開始の画像からは想像もできない情景に。

This work shows her preparing to use her main battery in anti-aircraft fire at Cape Engano. The Isuzu is shown just aft of the stern; forward from the bow are the Kuwa, the Zuiho, and the Akizuki.

エンガノ岬沖海戦で対空射撃が開始される寸前の様子。「五十鈴」から撮影された写真を基に、全く異なる角度からその場面を描きました。艦尾側背景には「五十鈴」、艦首側には「桑」「瑞鳳」「秋月」。
