More development of the combined ToonKit OSL shader Direct + Regular Cycles Indirect. 100 samples. Got the metals working nicely now. Need some work on the hair and face, then its time to test out LANPR lines. #b3d
Here's a mix of ToonKit OSL shaders and Cycles indirect light - in the same material! The Cycles shaders are only getting Indirect lighting, so I can just add it to my toonKit shader. Now I have full control of toon, and still have reflections. #b3d

Finished my overly complex setup that mixes Cycles GPU and OSL shaders together. Now i can start making my own versions of #evangelion meme images. #b3d
GPU Shaders mixed with ToonKit OSL line art (and some Freestyle.) Flexible, but takes a lot of setup. I have a GPU Scene and a CPU scene with instanced objects that having different Object Indices. The Object Index is used to mix between regular shaders and ToonKit ones. #b3d
Rei Update: Materials mostly done. Got the procedural wrinkles figured out, and the hair fake aniso highlight band. Here's couple progress images on the wrinkles, and their nodes (more info on that later) #b3d
