Next, I need to actually learn to use all these controls and stuff I've built. I know how to make fancy rigs, but I have almost no experience actually using them! >_>
Working on bringing a new eye stack to life. Part procedural, part painted images, all based on object coords, so projected from rigged empties (including displacement). Takes a lot of nodes, but not actually that complicated #b3d #blender3d #bnpr
Experimenting with Normal Transfer to improve hair and cheek shading. Hair is transferred from flat plane before being wrapped onto head. Cheeks have their own mesh with few points to keep adjustments easy. Nose is not effected and needs work. #b3d #blender3d #bnpr
@ssh4net @IdentyTee Its going to vary by which references you use. What is 'canon' for me to check my work against? Here's 6 Rei's who differ a lot from each other in face elements and style. They differ from mine, but also from each other. Which is the proper reference to emulate?
Hey #NobodyArtistClub, I do 3D that looks 2D using #blender3d, mostly anime right now. Also some tutorials! You can ask me questions about how to do things in 3D.

Face rigging continues. Getting that funky anime sidemouth working. And of course, the alternate angle is quite freaky. #b3d #blender3d #rigging #bnpr #touhou
@zuchinni14 The body is rigged with customized Rigify, and the long hair in the back has a bendybone rig. The clothing uses Cloth Sim. The rest of the hair, face, and hair bows still need rigging.
Reimu's ribbons and ruffles! Next: eyelashes, eyes, and more hair rigging. Might get around to making that projected anime eye tutorial i talked about months ago. #b3d #blender3d #bnpr #marvelousdesigner #touhou #3dart
