I figured out enough bmesh to make a script to generate a vertex group that has random weights per mesh island. Using it to control the Displace modifier that spreads out the hair strands to avoid them being too uniform. #b3d #blender3d #bnpr #python

At the moment you can't really make an Eevee toon setup that also supports colored light. But if you're crazy, you can render it in Cycles and just stuck it in as a texture via Window coordinates. #b3d #blender3d #bnpr
