Jade's picked up Silver Spoon by BBRP fave Hiromu Awakawa and published by @yenpress: a boy with no particular goals in life goes to agricultural school. Queue lots of jokes about a city boy discovering that eggs come from a butt.

@EricaFails @ryanqnorth @ClaytonCowles It's really defined by Erica's bright and energetic, adorably 'pudgy' artwork and the pun-tastic dialogue. And the presence of Tippy-Toe. SG may have started as a joke but has become a fully fleshed out, easy to love personality!

Last up is Dean's choice: The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl by @EricaFails, @ryanqnorth, Rico Renzi and @ClaytonCowles. A delightful story about a girl who can communicate with squirrels and has squirrel-like agility. A great gateway comic for younger readers into the Marvel universe.

Next up is Jade's problematic fave: Fushigi Yugi by Yuu Watase (published by @shojobeat). A classic shoujo about a girl who falls into an ancient world inside a book, becomes a priestess, and has to summon a God to grant wishes. Aaand all of her guards are in love with her.

Speaking of things that age like a fine wine. Jade’s choice is The Drops of God By Tadashi Agi and Shu Okimoto. A beer salesman competes in a contest to identify thirteen different wines with the prize of his fathers estate.

Next up, Josh has been reading Sunny by Taiyo Matsumoto, about an orphanage and the kids and adults working and living there. And, of course, the titular abandoned Datsun Sunny that the kids hang around in.
