Black Canary & Zatanna: Bloodspell is Jade's choice this week. An OGN with art by and written by Paul Dini. A sexy, witty and stylish story about everyone's favourite fish net wearing superheroes.

Josh is back on the manga this week, with Golden Kamuy, by Satoru Noda: a Russo-Japanese veteran and a young Ainu (an indigenous Japanese people) embark on a quest for gold. the map for which can be found tattooed across a selection of escaped prisoners.

It's y'all, which means it's also BBRP recommendations day, y'all! Jade's kicking things off today, with the beautiful Spinning, by , an autobio comic about her teenage years, figure skating and finding love.

Lastly Jade's choice, another nostalgic classic: Cardcaptor Sakura by CLAMP. Jade was re-reading the series to prepare for the anime that started this week!

and Dean's favourite's were: Travel Express, Baby Stoppy Montoya, and Holly Deadline. He loves the potential for high emotion and optimistic world saving, plus the major anime vibe from these three.

Last up is one of my favourite books. Darwyn Cooke's The New Frontier. A love letter to the Golden Age of comics as it enters the Silver Age. This gets reflected in the story's ability to toe the line between lighter and darker story beats.
