When threatened by another monster, Aknosom will open up its crest, lower its head, and cover its entire body with its wings to make itself look bigger. At night, locals often mistake it for some kind of evil spirit due to its unique silhouette and giant "eye."
On the tips of its wings are feathered scales that it can open and close, much like its crest. When folded or layered together, these feathered scales can act as a shield that'll protect Aknosom from incoming attacks. When unfolded or swung, they become sharp blades.
Aknosom has a large umbrella-shaped crest, or comb, on its head that it can freely open and close like a fan. A smaller crest, which has an eyeball-like motif, can be found on its forehead.
Many of Lagombi's parts are useful for winter clothing. Lagombi Armor was refined in Pokke Village before later making its way to other nearby villages.
Although Lagombi has decent eyesight, it can be difficult to see things in its environment due to the snow's reflection. Instead of relying on its eyesight, Lagombi primarily relies on its acute hearing to find enemies and prey.
Some researchers have accidentally damaged Great Baggi's sleep sac while studying its body, leading to the knockout powder being released into the laboratory. Apparently, there have been a few "sleeping incidents" in some labs (The powder knocked out several researchers).

The sharp protrusions on Arzuros's forelimbs give its equipment a wild flavor, while its pelt is sturdy enough to survive the harsh mountainous terrain. While Izuchi Armor is popular in Kamura Village, Arzuros Armor is popular in Yukumo Village.
