4/4/78: @marvwolfman brings his Hangman villain from WEREWOLF to do battle with Jessica Drew in SPIDER-WOMAN #4, but I wish he'd have pocketed the character until DC. He'd have made an excellent Batman foe, but Marvel brought him to an ignominious end within four more years.
3/26/74: @gerryconway pours on the soap opera for an FF in crisis. Reed has reduced Franklin to a vegetative state, so Sue hits him with divorce papers, leaving him an emotional wreck. And if Sue's available, here comes Namor! One of Rich Buckler's most dynamic issues ever.
3/24/81: Oft forgotten is how Roger Stern warmed up in the Webslinger Bullpen with a stint on SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN; within a year he would be writing the main title and producing its best run of the decade. Issue #55 sported this eye-catcher of a Frank Miller cover.
