One thing that I think Final Fantasy 8 is highly underappreciated for was its beautiful depiction of skies. I cant think of many other games from its era that did anything similar to what Square was able to pull off.

None of the cut colossi are in any of the code released publicly but there are some lingering textures as well as supplemental info on the cut colossi in the art book released around the time of the original game. Kind of nuts how far along these assets were.

Just dropping more amazing bosses. Fucking amazing craftsmanship. Still cant believe some of these are on the PS1.
