CCG ARTIST - Quinton Hoover

As one of the initial artists for MTG, Quinton was a pioneering illustrator for CCGs

His work on several CCGs elevated the expectation of fantasy game art to grander standard

He passed 7 yrs ago today but his work & legacy will be with us always:

Fast Forward was a producer of RPG material & games

At one point they were planning on producing a CCG set in the CrossGen comic book universe, to which Jim would have contributed. It was scheduled for release August 2003 but unfortunately it never made it to market

With frustrating gameplay & underwhelming aesthetics, interest in Ani-Mayhem started to diminish

Recognizing this, Pioneer made several changes with the 3rd set named Set Two*

They brought on a team to handle new rules & issue errata for 100s of cards
