Deadline just reported that Cinemark is opening 5 more theaters near San Francisco this week, & that 85% of their theaters are open. I had used 75% & updated the theater count. It now looks like 1,167 theaters will show Alita at 9,389 screenings, for a $375K box office.
Alita Conquering Angel's spreadsheet has been updated for 6 additional tickets sold at Century Huntington Beach & 3 additional tickets sold at Century Stadium Orange, CA. Theaters statistics show that 45% of tickets are bought on the day the movie is seen; 30% the day before.
