I think the original wooper was def more axolotl and maybe switched it to a larva (2limbs instead of 4) when the evolution was implemented but kept the name? Not sure if it was supposed to be basic originally and Quagsire was invented later or not. Image from

Reminds me did a whole plane of still outdated looking dinosaurs except the main design requirement was rainbow feathers on EVERYTHING. Sauropods? Feathers. Ankylosaurs? Feathers. Effing Dimetrodon not even really a dinosaur? PLUME IT UP plus it’s also a dinosaur.

I think it’s widely known at this point lots of large ceratopsians had very crocodilian-like scales.
