Looking for weekend reading?
We've got picks for the Best ComiXology Sales going on right now. Featuring Moon Knights, Green Lanterns, Zodiac Starforces, stoned witches, and more...

These two sets of panels — when taken together — are perhaps the most honest and clear set of feelings and experiences I’ve seen a story convey in the most ludicrous and fantastical ways.
I’m about to read this for the first time. The pull quote in the collection to start the issue is “Strap yourselves in. Brace yourselves. Prepare to become fictional.”
And I’m so ready.
It just came to my attention that the cover for Monstress #29 is a Star Wars thing.
Flex Mentallo #3: So good. An honest exploration of the evolution of superhero comics and of the way one experiences the hobby through life — for better or worse. It’s silly superhero metafiction, but Morrison touches it with so much of his own truth. Stellar issue. #OnDoomPatrol
This is one of those Morrison concepts that is essentially a whole comic within another comic.
Finally, last piece from today was Ariel Baska's excellent review of Black [AF]: America's Sweetheart.

Also for the night crowd, today's reviews:
Sleeping Beauties #1: https://t.co/Ebib9ctbhZ
That Texas Blood #1: https://t.co/ByrJfSqRM0
Wicked Things #2: https://t.co/pk55RWwuBW
Oh hey, not even off the first tier of the story yet, and I just solved this whole fireworks thing.
I know this issue is a parody and all but hey — I’ve seen worse cartooning.
