Is Noir (2001) good? It's one of those shows that ends up recommended alongside other things I watch, but I don't know anyone personally who's seen it.

Beyond - Kouji Morimoto

Probably my favorite Animatrix short. The idea of a "haunted house" that's a poorly rendering part of the Matrix is still one of my favorite sci-fi ideas. So much personality and depth in the characters shown with so little. Master class animation. A+

The Second Renaissance - Mahiro Maeda

Easily my least favorite, does nothing with its premise and actually makes Matrix lore less interesting. Tacky references to real-life atrocities. A couple neat visuals but it's too little too late. Just an edgy music video. D-
