It's past midnight on a Thursday and I've just discovered and become obsessed with the Valis game series, send help
One of those days where I can't decide on a new thing to watch so I watch Read or Die for the 50th time
The Dead or Alive series gets such a bad rap. It's a campy, queer pile of nonsense wrapped around a rock solid fighting system. It was originally based on the Virtua Fighter engine, but they added fun stuff like counters and my favorite interactive environment system.
Thinking about my all-time favorite fighting games, I seem to have a thing for sequels.
1) X-Men: Children of the Atom (1994)
2) Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate (2004)
3) Super Street Fighter 2 (1993)
4) Virtua Fighter 2 (1994)
I did that anime filter and I like how I just turn into one of my own characters.
Bring back the 26-apisode anime format where there's a clear ending planned out. It's a severely underrated approach.
I like a big, lavish illustration, but sometimes my favorite bits to draw are moments like these. They're harder to do than you think.
Without downloading any new pics, where are you mentally? https://t.co/HIKEkL90ol
I was already content with School Rumble being a fantastic comedy with great characters, but then they went the extra distance for me with "Surprise! It's gay!" Bless.
