Yeah gotta hand it to my local shop as a kid, I had access to a lot of bangers
@notadonutshop There was a video game and a cartoon pilot and nobody cared but me!
I was a dumb kid, though, so my main takeaway was that villains can't open their eyes all the way.
Someone was asking about Xiaoling Chavez's background, and I can confirm that she is Chinese and Latine. I tend to write a lot of biracial characters (Kim is Anglo-Korean, Elith is Afro-Danish), both because I'm biracial but also because our stories and experiences vary so wildly
Americans can be pretty puritanical about these things, and it's not even a sexually charged show. But it is confounding.
@KaelanRamos Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth was a hit, they should make a Capcom brawler with the OG Lodoss cast.
I also love how people thought KOTOR 1's Budget Death Star was derivative at the time, the only difference being it ate star energy to build ships. But then JJ Abrams made it more derivative and went "what if it ate stars but just was the Death Star again"
Directed by Sayo Yamamoto (Samurai Champloo, Yuri on Ice, The Woman Called Fujiko Mine) Michiko and Hatchin (2008) was her first series with full creative control. Bombastic style, great characters, and canonically created for tired women to watch.
