Really enjoyed @V_and_A #car exhibition yesterday! Brought back memories of visiting the British International Motor Show as a kid. Also had a hint of World Expo about it. Concept visuals + 1920s Ford Model T were a personal highlight. Would recommend!

George III born #otd in 1738.Some of @rhslibraries George III-related special collection items include his wife's signature from 1816. The work is decorated with Strelitzia (#birdofparadise), a genus named after Queen Charlotte's birthplace, the Duchy of Mecklenburg-Strelitz.

the OC have had their portraits painted.Nellie Roberts was the Society's first orchid artist(1897-1953).One of her earliest works:Lycaste denningiana(1897).
