This was a pretty daunting task and tho I tried to go for a style similar to the artwork seen in LoZ, it kinda turned into its own thing. I carried a few elements over and wanted to add more stuff, but maybe it's better that I finished it now, lest I didn't finish it at all...!

Thanks to @MenacingMecha's N64 shaders, making the textures look right was easy enough! I think there's a smarter way to use 3-point for a cool brush effect... I'll keep trying. Also now you guys know what my sideboard looks like!

Hey, it's still me! Shortened my name on here and made a new profile pic because it felt boring to just have a logo! And... it feels weird already. OH WELL, we'll see how I feel about it tomorrow.

Here's the official artwork by Ken Sugimori. Within that small canvas, I took a few liberties with the perspectives and proportions (and might not have been bold enough with the coloring) but I still hope I did these cute illustrations some justice!

Okay, so re-doing all 151 #Pokemon sprites might be even more of an undertaking than I thought. I did Charizard's head 10 times over and I'm still not happy, so I might leave it at the starters for now. Still fun to work with these limitations! #aseprite #ポケモン #ドット絵

Here's the original that I took as reference. I haven't looked at this artwork in decades... got me feeling some kinda way.

While watching a playthrough of #Pokemon Red, I had the idea of re-doing all original 151 sprites to be closer to Ken Sugimori's old watercolor artwork that's super nostalgic to me. It's pretty tough but also a lot of fun! What do you think? #wip #aseprite #ポケモン #ドット絵
