I spotted a discussion about Ikuo Kuwana earlier this week. So i thought it was about time to introduce is illustration for the Gainax HP.

Kuwana is a Ghibli born animator, he left after Mononoke Hime. He got seriously involved with Gainax starting Gurren Lagann...

Dans tous les cas, il s'est rappelé de faire la fête à la fin de la production.

I was looking into old Gainax stuff and stumbled onto an event they organised in 1998 to entertain their staff, a lazer gun tag team event.

They had a lot of guest it seems like 300 persons were involved for the 3rd match. The Gainax teams lost ^^.

There was a second version of the TOP2! illustration revamped for Valentine's day.

There's always something in the news to make me think let's go back to the master thread... Today's was Yuasa's Inu-oh.

Why ? Shouko Nishigaki a talented Gainax animator from Gurren Lagann to PSG always connects with Yuasa's work.

She has a cute drawing style...

And so it ended with special members of the team
